Last summer, I was selected for the Greece & Turkey pilgrimage with Lino Rulli and The Catholic Guy Show! However, when the Beatification of Pope John Paul II was announced, our travel coordinator and my very good buddy The Catholic Traveler did some fast rearranging to include it in our itinerary.
Want to hear some true hilarity from Rome? Tune in Friday, April 29 from 4pm-7pm EDT when Lino and the CGS Crew will be broadcasting the show live from the Vatican. Also, join The Catholic Channel on Sunday, May 1 for coverage of the Beatification of Pope John Paul II. Starting at 4:00 AM ET, Father Dave Dwyer and my good friend Father Rob Keighron will anchor live coverage of the Beatification Ceremony, celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI, from the Vatican.
I’ll be doing some live updates from Rome, Greece and Turkey throughout the whole trip – check it out on my Facebook page and on my Twitter feed (@CatholicDrinkie). I’ll probably be using Twitter more heavily as it is less of a data-suck throughout the trip. Hey, I’m paying for international data, but I don’t wanna go over my allotted amount!
