My other life …

For those of you who know me in real life, you know I LOVE politics. Some might say as much if not MORE than beer (I can hear the collective gasp now). I will try to refrain from using this blog as a political platform since this is about (mostly) beer and our beautiful Catholic faith, but just know that sometimes it might come through. I do have aspirations for running for office in the next couple years after all.

I have been blessed along the way to meet lots of folks and make friends with some pretty amazing elected officials and candidates. I have lots of great stories, so if you’re ever in Atlanta, let me know so we can grab a great beer and talk. It’s one of my favorite things to do!

I made a video for one of my favorites as a tribute to her great success so far! I can’t wait to see where God leads her next.

I presented this to her and her husband on Thursday night at a reception in her honor and gave a short speech (Did I mention I love public speaking? – it’s such a thrill!). I hope that from it you can see just how incredible she is. For those who follow me on Twitter, this is why I failed you with a new beer or drink to post that evening. My liver appreciates your patience.

If you ever want to hear more about my adventures, let me know. I’m willing to share. I just don’t wanna write something no one cares about!
