Catholic Drinkie 2.0

Greetings and Happy New Year!

It’s been a long while since I had an update. It’s been a busy time for me! I’ve been traveling quite a lot, both professionally and personally. As anyone who follows me on Twitter knows, I love to travel so this has been a blast. It’s just been tough for me to neglect the blog the way that I have. I tweet daily so that’s really the best way to keep up. That being said being more active on my .com site is a 2012 resolution for me.

Welcome to Catholic Drinkie 2.0. With the help (and much patience) from a lovely friend at Little Leaf Designs, I am proud to unveil the new look and feel on all my social outlets! There is a new layout here as well as on Twitter & Facebook. So exciting! So check it all out and tell your friends. :-)

My friend Matt over at 336 Creative continues to support me with some great hosting. He has a special offer for readers of Catholic Drinkie:

336 Creative is proud to introduce it’s newest hosting offering – fully managed website and rock-solid application hosting. Our new hosting offering was designed with the following in mind:

Reliable by Design
Blazing Fast Performance
Fully Scalable

Redundancies and optimizations have been built in to every piece of the web server process to ensure that the best reliability and speed is delivered to our clients and their visitors.
Our new server makes use of Amazon’s Elastic Load Balancer to help distribute the load of visitors across a variety of servers. It also helps to provide redundancy.
As a special offer to readers of the Catholic Drinkie, 336 Creative is offering 3 months of free hosting for any new clients. All you have to do is send me an email at matt (at) 336creative.com, tell me you read and know the Catholic Drinkie, and let me know what kind of hosting you’d need and when you’d like to get started. We’ll then work with you to get everything setup.

I appreciate your readership and support of my partners. Let me know what you’d like to read about here in 2012. I’m ready to rock.

Cheers!

Sarah

Love it, Sarah! Love it! (really like the little bottle caps on the bottom :)

I look forward to some good insights here, and plenty of shenanigans!

Welcome back to blogging Sarah. I too love the bottle cap links at the bottom. Nice touch!

I find it helps if you can find some way to buffer up smaller chunks of content throughout the day when you get the chance, and then, perhaps at the end of the day, to just put ‘em all together in one post. It helps overcome the inertia of “I really should write something” if you have a bunch of things already half written over the course of the day. Apply a lil’ spit ‘n polish and you have something to post.
